4 Line 8 Axle Lowbed Trailer (100 Ton)

4 Line 8 Axle Lowbed Trailer (100 Ton)

The Truckman 4 line 8 axle lowbed trailer is a 100-ton heavy-haul semi trailer for moving large excavators, bulldozers, transformers, crushers and other oversized machinery. Eight 13-ton axles on 32 tires spread the load over a wide footprint, and the 3 m low deck keeps the cargo’s centre of gravity down for stable highway and site travel.

  • Rated payload:100 tons

Frame and Low-Deck Design

The chassis is welded from high-tensile steel with deep main beams and cross members, so it resists twisting, shock and impact from heavy point loads such as excavator tracks or a transformer base. The deck sits low between the gooseneck and the axle group, which lowers the combined centre of gravity, reduces body roll in corners and gives more clearance under bridges and power lines.

JOST A300C Landing Gear

The trailer stands on JOST A300C linked landing gear. With a 28-ton lifting capacity and a high static load rating, it supports the loaded gooseneck safely during coupling, uncoupling and long stops, and is built for frequent daily use in heavy-haul fleets.

Side Wideners and Cargo Securing

Pull-out wideners on both sides of the deck add 250 mm per side, taking the loading width from 3.0 m to 3.5 m. When a machine with wide tracks or an over-width load comes in, you widen the deck instead of sending a second trailer – one trailer covers more jobs and fleet scheduling gets simpler.

Heavy-duty rope hooks along the side rails and rope tensioners are supplied as standard, so chains and straps can be tensioned evenly and the load stays fixed over long distances.

What Can a 4 Line 8 Axle Lowbed Trailer Carry?

  • Construction machinery:large excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, road rollers
  • Mining equipment:crushers, screens, drill rigs and heavy mining machines
  • Power and energy:transformers, generators, wind tower and tank sections
  • Industrial cargo:steel structures, pressure vessels and other heavy indivisible loads

If most of your loads are below 60–80 tons, a 3 or 4 axle lowbed is usually more economical. For repeated loads close to 100 tons, the 4 line 8 axle trailer gives a wider safety margin on tires, axles and road limits.
