4 Axle 80 Tons Flatbed Trailer With Air Suspension For Ghana

A professional logistics operator in Ghana contacted us three months ago in search of a high-performance transport trailer. In Ghana, the client is primarily responsible for transporting fully loaded containers and extremely heavy bulk construction materials, meaning the vehicle frequently operates at a high gross weight. Faced with the complex slopes and bumpy road conditions in Ghana’s inland areas, the customer gave extremely high praise to the reliability of the 16-ton FUWA axle in the configuration, which is the key to ensuring high uptime. Furthermore, considering the empty operating conditions when returning to the port from inland, the configured front axle air suspension system played a significant role. This flexible design allows customers to lift the front axle when unloaded, which not only reduces fuel consumption but also significantly reduces tire wear.

To resolve the persistent issues of frame deformation and main beam fracture commonly encountered in heavy-haul transport, TRUCKMAN has implemented a breakthrough structural upgrade. The upper and down plate of the main beam are made of Q550D manganese steel with excellent fatigue resistance, while the web plate uses T700 high-strength steel as a robust frame, ensuring that the whole vehicle can maintain zero deformation under an 80-ton ultimate load. In response to the enormous torsional stress caused by frequent turning during port transshipment, we have carried out comprehensive reinforcement of the gooseneck area, including the addition of reinforcing beams and side reinforcing plates, to avoid the hidden danger of metal fatigue cracking in the gooseneck area and extend the overall life of the semi-trailer.

To improve operational efficiency, the semi-trailer uses top global brand components, and the standard WABCO braking system ensures safe braking under heavy loads. The original JOST landing gear, reinforced with a “3+2” structural design, demonstrates exceptional durability, guaranteeing parking stability during frequent unloading operations. Furthermore, the vehicle is fitted with TRIANGLE tires, which boast superior rubber properties: they are highly wear-resistant, extremely durable, offer excellent grip, are resistant to blowouts, and ensure a high level of driving safety. Additionally, the vehicle features specially selected 16mm thickened heavy-duty steel rims; these offer greater impact resistance than standard rims, effectively resolving deformation issues often caused by rough road conditions and significantly reducing long-term operating costs.
