A client from Guinea contacted us through a friend, and we immediately established contact. We learned they were involved in a bridge construction project and needed several semi-trailers to transport extra-long cargo. After clarifying their needs, we designed a 3 axle extendable flatbed trailer. This semi-trailer is retractable, with a standard length of 12.5 meters and a maximum length of 25 meters. It also comes with container locks, perfect for occasional container transport needs. After explaining the design concept and principles behind this semi-trailer, they were very satisfied. After further research, they found our price to be the most favorable, ultimately choosing us.
This 3-axle, 80 ton extendable flatbed trailer can transport customer-required extra-long cargo, such as large concrete blocks and stick-shaped cargo, as well as containers, achieving dual purposes. To meet these requirements, we reinforced the semi-trailer’s beam. Conventional beams have only one vertical plate, but to meet our customers’ heavy-load demands, we’ve incorporated two. This design significantly enhances the semi-trailer’s load-bearing capacity, enabling it to meet customers’ heavy-load demands even at a 25-meter length.
Considering the customer’s heavy-load needs and container transport requirements, we used LINGLONG 315/80R22.5 tires. These utilize an 18PR design and high-toughness steel cord to meet the demands of long-distance, heavy-load transport. The special rubber combination reduces tread wear by 30%, extending tire life by 40% compared to conventional tires. LINGLONG also boasts a well-developed after-sales service network, providing customers with timely and professional service.
The customer ordered a total of four semi-trailers. To help them save on freight, we stacked two semi-trailers for shipment. This method significantly reduced freight costs. During the shipment, we strictly followed safety procedures to ensure the stability and reliability of the stacked semi-trailers, avoiding any potential safety hazards during sea transportation. We also conducted comprehensive inspections and tests on the semi-trailers to ensure their performance and quality met the customer’s requirements.
