During the conversation, we learned that the client operated a local gas station and was interested in ordering several tanker semi-trailers for fuel transportation. The semi-trailer’s electrical system utilizes waterproof wiring. This design not only prevents moisture intrusion and prevents wiring harnesses from short circuits, leakage, or thermal runaway, thereby reducing the potential for fire, but also enhances the wiring’s ability to withstand damage from high temperatures and frequent bending. Furthermore, the fire extinguisher bracket is positioned between the rear wheel and rear bumper, freeing up additional space. The fully enclosed design prevents damage to the extinguisher from accidental bumps during transport.
The use of fully enclosed fenders, combined with mud flaps, can minimize splashing of mud and water. When driving in the rain, splashing water vapor will not affect the vision of other vehicles. This design not only fully considers the safety of the semi-trailer itself, but also the safety of other vehicles. In addition, the ends and middle part of the fenders are reinforced and connected to the tank body, which greatly extends their service life under normal use. To further improve the safety of night driving, we have installed position marker lights in multiple locations on both sides of the body, including the front end of the tank, above the toolbox, above the side bumpers, and at the rear end and top of the tank. These meticulous designs are aimed at improving driving safety when visibility is poor.
