A few months ago, a customer from Zambia contacted us on his friend’s recommendation. The customer would like to purchase a water tanker truck for dust suppression in mining areas. Then, we discussed the water tanker’s configuration with the customer. Including the water tank capacity, engine, tires and so on. We also discussed with the truck’s price and lead time with the customer. After that, we recommended the 6×4 20000 Liters HOWO TX Water Tank Truck. After finalizing all the details, the customer placed an order with us. One week ago, the truck arrived at the port in Zambia. The customer picked up the truck smoothly and the truck were quickly put into work. The customer took the photos and vedio that the water tanker truck in operation. This truck delivers exceptional dust suppression in the video. The duckbill nozzles reduce road dust for better mining working conditions, water cannons clean and cool heavy equipment, and self priming and self draining enables quick water refilling, ideal for mining without fixed water sources. Customers are highly satisfied with the water tanker truck’s performance and look forward to continuing cooperation with us.
Based on the Zambia’s mining era work scenario, the water tank truck is equipped with the Duckbill spray nozzles and water cannons. The duckbill spray nozzle projects water in a forward fan pattern, providing broader coverage, higher water pressure, and superior dust suppression. This nozzle also rotates to direct water closer to the ground, effectively cleaning surfaces. The pressure washer propels water at high pressure to achieve thorough cleaning.Water tank trucks with pre assembled spray systems serve multiple purposes. Mining dust suppression, municipal road cleaning, green space maintenance, agricultural and rural emergency water supply, construction site water delivery and emergency firefighting. In Lusaka, Kitwe and other Zambian cities, their main thoroughfares and industrial parks are muddy in the rainy season and dusty in the dry season, with public green spaces and roadside landscaping needing regular irrigation. The truck’s front nozzles remove road oil and grime, side and rear sprayers irrigate green belts evenly, and high pressure jets clean hard to reach areas like bus stops and median strips.
To make sure the water tanker truck could operate smoothly even in the harsh work scenario, the truck is equipped with the HW19710 gearbox. This 10 speed manual transmission features a first gear ratio of 14.284 and a maximum input torque of 1,900 N·m. It is engineered for Zambia’s tough mining road conditions, where merely 18% of the roads are paved and muddy, trap prone surfaces are common during the rainy season. The transmission amplifies starting torque, allowing heavy duty water tankers to start smoothly without slipping on steep mining slopes and muddy terrain. It has 10 gears that precisely adapt to varying road conditions. Low gears provide sufficient power for heavy duty climbing while high gears optimize driving on paved roads, achieving a well balanced performance in power and fuel efficiency. This design significantly reduces vehicle entrapment and corresponding rescue costs while boosting the delivery efficiency of water tankers in mining areas and rural regions.
Sometimes when transporting water tankers, we utilize flat rack containers. As an innovative design in modern logistics, flat rack containers have completely revolutionized the established model of traditional containers. This open frame structure not only solves the challenge of transporting oversized cargo but also opens new possibilities for modern logistics. The most distinctive feature of flat rack containers lies in their open design. Unlike the enclosed structure of conventional containers, flat rack containers remove the roof and side walls, retaining only the bottom frame and four corner posts. This design breaks through the dimensional constraints of traditional containers, enabling them to accommodate various oversized cargo from extra long, extra wide, to extra tall items. Whether transporting large machinery, engineering components, wind turbine blades, or chemical equipment, flat rack containers provide an ideal solution for these specialized shipments.
