Recently, a client from Mozambique contacted us again, hoping to purchase four tractors for logistics and transportation. After discussing the matter with the client, we recommended the SHACMAN X3000 6×4 Tractor Truck. Its features perfectly met their needs, and the price was within their budget. Having previously purchased a SHACMAN dump truck from us, the client was familiar with our service and product quality. We were delighted to have them return to us for this collaboration. Thank you for your trust in us, so we offered them a very favorable price, which pleased them greatly. After finalizing the details and arranging payment, we also arranged production.
The customer primarily uses the truck for long-distance logistics transport, with relatively long mileage, and is particularly focused on transport efficiency. Therefore, we equipped the truck with a high-top cab with double sleepers. This design allows two or even three drivers to work on the truck, allowing one driver to drive while the others rest. This allows the truck to rest while the others continue to operate, maximizing transport efficiency. Also to improve transport efficiency, we equipped the truck with a dual 680L + 300L fuel tank design, significantly increasing range and reducing the number of refueling stops along the way. The truck’s large fuel tank capacity allows for longer refueling times, and when fuel prices are low, refueling can be completed in one go, saving costs.
Also based on the needs of long-distance transportation, we use the CUMMINS 450HP high-horsepower engine for our customers. Using advanced combustion technology and turbocharging design, fuel consumption is significantly lower than similar products, operating costs are greatly reduced, and the benefits are particularly outstanding in long-distance transportation. By optimizing the in-cylinder combustion and turbocharging systems, high torque at low speeds (such as peak torque at 1000-1400 rpm) is achieved, with fast acceleration response and adaptability to high-load conditions. Paired with 385/65R22.5 front tires and 315/80R22.5 rear tires, the ride is smoother and long-distance transportation is safer, maintaining good balance whether braking suddenly or turning. The tubeless design also reduces the risk of tire blowouts due to overheating, avoiding downtime caused by tire blowouts.
Considering the customer purchased four trucks, we opted for a frame-type shipping method to save on shipping costs. A single frame can accommodate two tractors, and compared to bulk cargo, the sealed or fixed frame structure effectively protects the cargo, minimizing damage or loss during transit. Furthermore, the frame container supports multi-angle loading and unloading (side or top), enabling rapid mechanized operation and significantly shortening port dwell time. Once the cargo arrives at the ports of Beira or Maputo, loading and unloading can be completed with maximum speed, ensuring the truck arrives safely and intact at the customer’s site, ready for immediate operational use.
