Two months ago, a customer from the DRC, who had previously purchased XCMG ZL50GN wheel loader from us, reached out again. The customer wanted to purchase two lowbed semi trailers to transport wheel loader. After receiving the inquiry, we communicated the configuration, price, and lead time of the lowbed trailers with the customer. Based on his requirements, we recommended the 3 Axle 70 tons lowbed trailer. This lowboy semi trailer is fitted with ZY brand 16 tons axles and 13R22.5 tires, a configuration well suited to the DRC’s local working conditions. Since the lowboy trailer fully met the customer’s needs, he placed the order without hesitation. We then immediately arranged production for him. The entire manufacturing process was carried out efficiently to ensure timely delivery. One week ago, the lowbed semi trailer completed production and successfully passed the factory inspection. We are now coordinating shipment and look forward to the customer’s satisfaction with the new lowbed semi trailer.
To extend the lifespan of the semi trailers and improve the customer experience, these two low bed semi trailers incorporate many thoughtful design features.First, the main beams are 200 mm wide, and the side beams are 300 mm high. This robust structure makes the entire semi trailer stronger and more durable. Second, the loading platform of each low bed semi trailer is equipped with fully welded anti slip strips. Unlike traditional spot welded anti slip strips, which tend to loosen or fall off after prolonged use, these fully welded strips are much stronger and remain firmly attached over time. Combined with the anti slip patterned floor plate, they ensure that large machinery stays stable on the platform and does not shift easily during transport. Finally, both sides of the semi trailers are fitted with widening clips. When customers need to transport oversized machinery, they can use these clips together with widening plates to extend the width of the loading platform, providing greater flexibility for different cargo sizes.
In addition to the detailed design features mentioned above, all key components of the lowbed semi trailers come from well known brands, such as ZY axles, TRIANGLE tires, and JOST landing gear. The ZY brand 16 tons axle provides the lowbed semi trailer with sufficient load capacity to transport various types of construction machinery. The TRIANGLE brand 13R22.5 tires are well suited to the DRC’s local working conditions. The 13R22.5 tire is a tubeless type, which is less prone to blowouts caused by prolonged high temperatures. This helps ensure the semi trailers’ transportation efficiency to a certain extent. The JOST landing gear can withstand approximately 28 tons, and this reputable brand support legs allows the lowbed semi trailer to park steadily and safely.
Aim to help our customer reduce transportation costs, given that they purchased two lowbed semi trailers, we opted to transport them stacked. Stacking reduces the overall volume, thus saving on ocean freight. Furthermore, before loading the two lowbed semi trailers onto the ship, we will apply an anti rust wax coating. Waxing minimizes the impact of the humid environment during sea transport on the lowbed semi trailers. We will also cover them with tarpaulins. The tarpaulins protect the semi trailers from seawater corrosion, ensuring that the customer receives the semi trailers in perfect condition.
